The first time after it worked then went right back to acting as I have described. Press the button to start the device again. Restart Your Device Press the power down button on your device. I have completely uninstalled and cleared the cache and reinstalled. Everyone encountering the Spotify not working/Spotify not connecting issue shouldn’t get anxious because there are several useful solutions to solving it yourself. I am trying to get this worked out with Spotify but so far no luck. I have started evaluating other services and have found one that worked as expected. Even though they are on by default, it will not continue unless I proceed as described above.
The only way I can get this to work is by going into Settings-> Playback and turning off Autoplay on this device and On other devices then turning them back on after I start the initial song. Very frustrating especially while driving. Nor do I save songs to play later, just pick a song and let the app play related songs when finished which it should do by design. I like to just pick a song and start streaming. Streaming stops after initial song is played.
